What an excellent scheme to improve local people’s health and overall save public money. As someone who lives in a household where the heating needs to be high enough to alleviate someone’s serious health condition, just like the people mentioned in this article, I know the importance and value of the wise use of money to maintain good health, as well as it being the right priority for the person involved. So we pray for all such local schemes that use joined-up thinking and working between organisations to help residents live healthier lives by intelligent use of public money that benefits us all. We pray for all those local people whose health conditions would be improved by living in warmer homes, that such help is forthcoming.
